Xiaotaiwan (Little Taiwan), located in the northeast of Qimei Island, Penghu County, starts from Niangmeiping and follows along the coastal highway to the north. When passing through a sloped road section, one can see a viewing pavilion. Standing atop the pavilion, visitors are offered a view of a sea-eroded platform shaped similarly to Xiaotaiwan, formed over years of relentless wave erosion. This formation is thus named Qimei Xiaotaiwan. There is also a rock formation appearing like Kuei-Shan Island (Green Island) in the same spot, and its shape becomes more distinct during low tide.
