The architectural style of Shih Chien University is renowned for its clean and neat exposed concrete construction method, which is a modern architectural and construction technique. After the structural concrete is poured and the formwork is removed, none of the buildings use plastering or tiles and stones. Instead, they use exposed concrete, washed aggregate, steel frames, glass, and metal materials to create a harmonious atmosphere within the campus, showcasing their original texture. Currently, there are three main buildings that use exposed concrete as the primary material: the Tung-Min Memorial Building (College of Design), the New Library Building, and the New Gymnasium Building.

Shih Chien is also well known for its design departments. The department buildings extensively display students' works, allowing students to freely create in stairwells, restrooms, or any corner, moving closer to their dreams.
