Therefore, when people consume mushrooms, they may see the cultivation process but can never witness the entire cultivation and manufacturing of mushroom strains. What we want to do is to help everyone understand the entire process of manufacturing, cultivating and growing edible mushroom strains, to see diverse mushroom varieties they have never heard of before, and to learn about the ecological functions and tasks of edible fungi. They can also experience the pleasure of hand‑picking fresh mushrooms, and even let visitors hand‑pick from raw material to produce a bottle of mushroom strain, witnessing the life cycle of fungi from spawn to fruiting and management. This promotes Fengnian Farm’s industrial tourism and expands the farm’s industry into another domain. For more than forty years, Fengnian Farm has focused on the manufacturing and cultivation of edible mushroom strains.
