The Shipan Valley Waterfall Trail is 1.2 kilometers long. Connected by a large suspension bridge and a stone boardwalk, the trail leads through a lush, green forest that instantly lifts one's mood. The valley where the Shipan Waterfall is located is locally known as "Zhuzai Pai". The unique terrain of Shipan Valley is a step-like river valley, which forms a series of waterfalls. As you hike upstream, you can see different types of waterfalls, a total of six, varying in water volume. This step-like valley features a cluster of waterfalls. As you make your way up, you'll encounter various types of waterfalls, each with a distinct character. Although the water volume is not large, it has a gentle, soothing quality to it. The water is icy cold and crystal clear. The valley is nestled deep within a serene gorge, boasting breathtaking natural scenery. As you walk along the trail, take a moment to appreciate the beautiful butterflies, such as the large red-bodied swallowtail, the common green-banded swallowtail, the crow swallowtail, and the leaf butterfly, as they flutter about.
