Constructed on January 20, 1997, at a cost of over NT$90 million, this is a large-span bridge with multiple purposes: a steel-arch bridge and a scenic suspension bridge. It is 280 meters long and 8.6 meters wide, with a central lane for scooters and pedestrian walkways on both sides for enjoying the scenery; viewing platforms are installed at both ends of the bridge.
