The Tannan Tribe belongs to the Bunun Ka社 tribe. Since it is located on the southwest side of Sun Moon Lake, it was named "Tannan". From Sun Moon Lake, follow Provincial Highway 21 south to the Zhuowu Creek, then follow Provincial Highway 16 along Zhuowu Creek upstream and take County Road 97 north through the foot of Shu社 Mountain to Tannan Village, and back to the shore of Sun Moon Lake. This is a bicycle route that is close to nature and has a challenging climb. It's suitable for riders who usually exercise and like to challenge themselves.
