Doliang Village is the southernmost village in Taiping Township, divided into Upper Doliang and Lower Doliang. Most residents now live in Lower Doliang. Entering through the village entrance, following a path upward and turning a few corners, you will soon arrive at the long-abandoned Doliang Station. Doliang Station is renowned as the most beautiful station in Taiwan and a pilgrimage site for photography enthusiasts. When visiting Doliang, you may also explore the Xiangyang Sunchuan Woodcraft Workshop, located on the former site of the abandoned Doliang Elementary School. The workshop not only produces large wooden furniture but also creates educational wooden toys such as tangram puzzles for children. At the Takano tribal village, there are limited dining and accommodation options. Travelers seeking overnight stays are advised to head to Jinlun town for more choices.
