The Sansheng Temple, also known as the Temple of the Three Lords, is located on Chang'an Street in Shuangxi Village, New Taipei City's Shuangxi District. It is a temple dedicated to the worship of the three loyal ministers of the Southern Song Dynasty - Wen Tianxiang, Lu Xiufu, and Zhang Shijie. In the 46th year of the Qianlong Emperor's reign (1781), Lian Yuanqiao, a native of Jiangdu Township in Longhai County, Fujian Province, led a group of people to cross the sea to Taiwan. At that time, he brought a statue of Wen Tianxiang, and after passing through mountains and rivers, he arrived in Shuangxi. He found that Shuangxi was a vast wilderness that had not yet been developed, but the scenery was beautiful, so he decided to settle there and engage in pioneering and reclamation work, and built a thatched hut to worship the god. The Taiwanese people who migrated to Taiwan, although not fleeing from war, still had the spirit of resisting the Qing and restoring the Ming Dynasty. Adding to the fact that they had left their hometowns and crossed the ocean, they could not help but feel a sense of emptiness in their hearts. Therefore, they relied on the protection of the gods to seek peace and stability, and the number of people worshipping Wen Tianxiang's statue increased day by day. Lian Yuanqiao had brought a group of people from the mainland to Taiwan, and so it was decided to create statues of Lu Xiufu and Zhang Shijie, and worship them together with Wen Tianxiang, known as the Three Loyal Lords. The temple was built and completed in the 7th year of the Tongzhi Emperor's reign, and in the 83rd year of the Republic of China, it was demolished and rebuilt due to the urban planning of Datong Road. The Sansheng Temple has long been the center of faith for the people of Shuangxi District, with a thriving incense fire. In addition to the Three Loyal Lords as the main deities, the temple also worships the Three Ancestors, the Heavenly Holy Mother, Guan Sheng Dijun, Guanzhang Sheng Wang, Yanping Junwang, Sakyamuni, and Guanyin Buddha.
