The landslide relic from a century ago constitutes today's boulder landscape. The landslide caused by Typhoon Nali in 2001 also left its mark here, where one can see geographical features such as river erosion, transportation, and deposition. This is an excellent spot for outdoor geographical education. Entering from the path beside the Xinggu Suspension Bridge, and passing under the bridge, you will enter a park consisting of boulders. The dry creek and Xinggu Suspension Bridge spanning over it are right before your eyes, fenced by a railing. On the east, the Ta Shan and Laiji Tribe on the west are also within your sight. Walking down the wooden stairs and following a circular route, you will come to the bottom of the boulders. It is only then that you realize just how magnificent these boulders are. Getting close to and passing through the cracks of the boulders, you can observe the texture on the boulder walls up close and feel the amazing force of the landslide and river erosion, transportation, and deposition. In the park, you can observe Taiwan's endemic species such as Mountain Cinnamon, Wood Ginger, Taiwan Ramie, Bitter Melon,Formosan Red Oak, Taiwan Oak, and Taiwan Lu bamboo. In addition, you can also find the Crimson -backed Tanager, Orange -bellied Flowerpecker, Grey -headed Flycatcher and other birds. You can also smell the sweet fragrance of Taiwan Cherry Blossom and Taiwan Hibiscus or take a leisurely walk on the suspension bridge. This park is a good place for all to enjoy and appreciate the green hills and waters.
