The Story of Penghu's Wife is a specialty store that primarily creates art pieces, founded by Chen Zhenxiu and Liu Weizhi. In 2003, it cooperated with a series of events for the inaugural Tungpien Arts Festival, including the establishment of an art gallery. The Penghu Story of Wife Art Gallery located at Fisherman's Wharf was officially opened and held an opening event in conjunction with the festival. The gallery's establishment connects the past events of the Tungpien Arts Festival and witnesses the artistic vision of Story of Wife and Tungpien Village. In the future, it will serve as a long-term space for creators in the Tungpien Art Village to showcase their work and also take on the responsibility of enhancing local culture, connecting Taiwan, international art groups, and various art museums. The gallery has three floors. The first floor is for cultural product exhibitions and a service counter, while the second and above floors are planned for display spaces to showcase a series of works by creators. The name "The Story of Penghu's Wife" originated from the fact that the boss lady often wrote letters to friends, which made her feel like a wife who frequently told stories to her partner. So, from that day on, she began to sign her name as "The Story of Wife."
