Baisha Harbor, the main maritime gateway of Beigan - Baisha Harbor, situated at the southern tip of Beigan Island in the Matsu Islands, is a crucial transportation hub for inter-island travel within the Matsu Islands as well as for the small three links to the mainland. It is said that the original temple was planned during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty and, through various dynastic changes, transformed from a modest structure to a splendidly luxurious temple, symbolizing the devout faith of the local residents.
