Spring is in full bloom, and this is the perfect season for the golden trumpets of the Tabebuia chrysantha. Along Provincial Highway 1 in Xizhou, Changhua, stretching toward Xiluo, several kilometers of golden Tabebuia have been planted. Every March, the trees burst into a blaze of color; the entire row of street trees looks as if it has slipped into a beautiful, golden shirt. The ground and the canopy alike shimmer in yellow, creating a dazzling, golden highway that is simply breathtaking.
