The other is a Fujian-style three-in-one courtyard with a history of over 200 years, Li Qifeng's ancient house, which is the most complete Fujian-style ancient house preserved in the northern coastal area. It is said that the owner of Qifeng Residence was Li Bu, who immigrated to Taiwan from Zhangzhou in 1802 to open up the land. He started from scratch and became rich and influential, and was known as the richest man and influential family in the Jinpakuli area at that time. Stepping into Qifeng Residence, there is a half-moon pool in the front and an orchard in the back. The feng shui design for seeking wealth and fortune is revealed in this ancient house. According to the customs of the Qing Dynasty, the roofs of common people's houses were not allowed to have upturned corners, but Qifeng Residence has a luxurious one, which shows the owner's power and achievements. The decorations on the roof are also very delicate. Currently, Qifeng Residence is still inhabited by people. As long as you don't disturb them, you are welcome to visit and observe from outside.
