A stair-step trail paved mainly with high-pressure concrete bricks makes walking easy; surrounding attractions use wooden boardwalks and railroad-tie structures to present the historical face of Baguashan. Starting at the 1895 Baguashan Anti-Japanese Defense of Taiwan Historic Site Hall, the route passes the former poets' gathering place Taiji Pavilion, the scroll-like Lai He Poetry Wall, the "Silver Bridge Waterfall," and the historic Silver Bridge, forming a culturally rich path. About 420 m long, it offers benches for rest and connects to trails within the Zhanghua Great Buddha Temple area—ideal for the general public.
