Located on the mid-slope of Mount Shierfenpu on the northwest side of Baguashan in the Tri-Mountain National Scenic Area, the trail network at 1–3 Daling Lane stretches about 1.95 km in total. The path surface is made of railroad ties, wooden boardwalks, dirt-and-stone tracks, and farm roads. Along the way visitors can enjoy beautiful scenery and rest in gazebos that overlook the Bagua mountain range; famous local chicken restaurants and sightseeing wax-apple orchards offer hearty meals. Each of the three trails is planted with a signature flower: Trail No. 1—Sweet Osmanthus; Trail No. 2—Camellia; Trail No. 3—Azalea. The area is rich in natural life; the highlight is frequent sightings of Grey-faced Buzzards circling overhead, their cries echoing through the valley. Baguashan also lies on the northward migration route and habitat of the Purple Spotted Butterfly; to enhance conservation, the Hua-tan Township Office has planted nectar plants along the trails for the butterflies. Trail length: 1.95 km. Walking time: 0.8 hr. Facilities: direction signs, interpretation boards, benches.
