The trail starts from the Xiangshan Visitor Center. Heading south along the southern shore of Sun Moon Lake, passing through Toushe Dam, Moonbay, and the entrance of Tunnel No.1. The scenery and varied forest along the trail are rich and diverse. Particularly from a distance overlooking the Toushe Basin from a height, you can see the fields and houses laid out like a chessboard.
