In September 2023, the Ita Thao Water Bike Path on Sun Moon Lake was completed. The path starts at the Ita Thao Pier and features a large fish platform and a fish basket flower stand. It connects to the Sun Moon Lake Cable Car Station and is 600 meters long. This bike path allows visitors to start from the Ita Thao commercial area, ride to the Nine Frogs Terrace, and enjoy the scenic views of the Ita Thao water area along the way, covering a total distance of 2.4 kilometers.
