The police station is constructed with reinforced concrete, featuring a Western-style wooden truss roof. It is currently used as a dormitory and storage room. An observation deck is built next to the police station. It is a rare structure not commonly seen in other places. The establishment of the observation deck attests to the coastline changes in the Lukang-Changbin coastal area. The exterior walls of the observation deck are constructed using the pebble mosaic technique, an architectural method introduced by the Japanese from the West during the Japanese occupation period. This technique is resistant to wind exposure and sunlight. The air-raid shelter in the garden, preserved from World War II to the modern era, also holds significant historical value.
