The Hualien Tourism Information Center is the northernmost service station in the East Coast Scenic Area, located on the slopes 8 kilometers south along the No. 11 Highway in Shoufeng Township, Hualien County. It offers panoramic views and is an ideal vantage point for gazing at the Pacific Ocean. The center features an exhibition room introducing the area's natural and cultural resources and tourism hotspots along the eastern coastal region, as well as a multi-media presentation room accommodating up to 84 people. Visitors can obtain brochures and receive on-site explanations from interpretive staff regarding the park's natural landscapes, topography, ecosystems, and cultural heritage before embarking on their exploration of the East Coast. On the slope of a nearby pond beside the visitor center, cannonball lilies (Lilium longiflorum) have been restored. From April to late May, when the lilies bloom in full splendor, visitors can walk along the scenic trail surrounding the area, enjoying the sight of swaying flower fields in the gentle breeze, a scene that evokes poetic and joyful sentiments.
