Located in Jinshan District, New Taipei City, Zhongshan Hot Spring Park reopened in August 2021 after a four-year renovation that reintroduced hot-spring water, added foot-soaking pools, and integrated the existing Jinbaoli Public Bathhouse, transforming the entire park landscape. The project combines the local hot-spring experience with the area’s culture, ecological environment, and a richer tourism industry.
The park is planted with Formosan cherry trees that bloom around the Lunar New Year in January–February each year. When the blossoms open, it is as though a layer of red paint has been brushed across the lush green park, heralding spring with brilliant color; strolling beneath the drifting petals along the cherry-tree path is breathtaking. A carefully designed nighttime light show has also been installed, allowing visitors to relax, soaking their feet while enjoying the dazzling scenery. A new multi-level parking garage has been added, making it easy for tourists to park and stroll through the historic Jinbaoli Old Street.
