As we drive into Lai Ji, we notice that the roadside is lined with a variety of flowers, intentionally planted by the community to attract butterflies and catch the attention of tourists. Especially after passing Lai Ji Elementary School and Xing Chun Bridge, the area around the first pavilion on the right side of the road has become a butterfly paradise. Although the pavilion appears to be somewhat abandoned, the surrounding plants are still full of life, growing and expanding their territory. Many of these plants are nectar-rich, providing a rich source of food for the butterflies. Within a short distance of over 10 meters, numerous species of butterflies gather, including the Common Tiger, Plain Tiger, Red-bodied Swallowtail, Eastern Comma, Gray Vagabond, and Cloudless Sulphur, all coming to feast and bask in the sunlight.
