The Shuiwatou Trail lies between Dazhuhu and Ita Thao. At the entrance stand frog statues and a car park. The 600-meter path, with a 60-meter elevation drop, is built on an elevated boardwalk that winds through a quiet bamboo grove, ending at a circular lakeside route. It passes through a graceful Mengzhong bamboo forest rich in native trees and ferns; several nearby Schima trees bloom white in summer, adding striking ornamental value. Along the way watch butterflies dance, birds fly, fish leap, and frogs hop. Beside the lake, the bronze sculpture “Frogs in a Human Pyramid” vividly illustrates how the place got its name and also serves as a gauge for water-level changes.
