Located on County Road 139 in the eastern district of Changhua City, turn in at Fuxing Road. The area is planted with a large number of tung trees; when the blossoms are in full bloom during April and May, strolling along the wooden boardwalk while snow-white petals drift down creates a beautiful scene. The tung-flower trail is a loop trail; the entrance area is a water-source site where fireflies are being restored. Beyond it lies a native herb garden—jasmine, osmanthus, etc.—followed by a section of native Taiwanese tree species such as Formosan ash, camphor, soapberry, and pongam, most planted by environmental volunteers. The other side is a linear mountain trail edged mainly with native Taiwanese trees; apart from tung, there are fragrant nanmu groves, acacia forests, and camphor stands. Both trails are popular with the public during blooming season.
