Xinsheng South Road is known as the "Road to Heaven" because many religious churches, temples, Buddhist halls, and places of worship are gathered here. From south to north, there are Huai'en Church, Zhenli Church, Mosque, Church of the Holy Family, Taipei Church, and Wesley Church, etc. Different religions are all located on the same Xinsheng South Road, and each religion has its unique characteristics, which are worth visiting.
The Church of the Holy Family is located opposite the Daan Forest Park. From above, it looks like a cross. At night, under the light, it emits a faint white glow, creating an atmosphere of nobility and purity, leading people to God. The Church of the Holy Family is about 63 feet high, with no beams or columns, and is a tent-like building. This architectural style gives people no sense of spatial oppression or visual barriers, aiming to help people focus on their spiritual cultivation and raise their hearts to heaven. The interior of the church makes full use of colored glass and natural light, creating a natural and sacred atmosphere, as if entering a sacred place, eliminating worldly troubles within people's hearts.
In 1998, 18 stained glass panels depicting Bible stories, which were transported from Belgium and have a history of over 100 years, are works of the famous French artist Lévêque. At the bottom of the stained glass, there are explanations of each small Bible story, which are worth reading and appreciating the beautiful artworks.
