台北市萬華區峨眉街53號
Established in 1976, this is the earliest train sushi restaurant in the entire country, located just a stone's throw away from "Mei Guan Yuan," yet the cuisine and the space style are quite different. "Da Che Lun" follows the traditional Japanese conveyor belt sushi style, using a small train with several carriages that runs around the entire restaurant. Sushi, boiled seafood, salads, and pickled side dishes are placed on the train's platform. You can directly take what you want, charged by plate, while the prices for bento, noodles, and grilled foods are separately posted on the ceiling and walls. The second floor has a tatami dining area, but most people prefer to sit on the first floor, squeezed together, watching the train running back and forth, full of topic and fun. A 20-meter-long train track is laid on the counter, with seven small trains running back and forth, carrying various colorful sushi and side dishes. When you see something you like, don't hesitate, just reach out and take it. Da Che Lun buys the freshest fish every day, and only selects the middle part of the fish, in order to make the best sushi with excellent taste, fragrance, and flavor. The dishes here have the traditional delicacy of Japanese cuisine. The signature sushi is the "Da Che Lun Sushi," made by wrapping six small sushi rolls in a large seaweed sheet. It's like eating a wheel cake, with rich fillings, allowing you to uncover its flavor layer by layer. In addition, there are kaiseki dishes, including set meals and bento, all with traditional Japanese flavors, well worth your taste.
