"Di Hua 207 Museum" is located at No. 207, Section 1, Dihua Street, Taipei. The building was constructed in 1962. After the original owner sold it in 2006, it changed hands several times. In 2009, the Taipei City Government designated it as a "Historic Building." In 2016, Ms. K.C. Chen purchased it. Ms. Chen had founded and sponsored "Taipei Story House" from 2003 to 2015, setting a precedent for individuals to sponsor the preservation of historical sites in Taiwan.
On April 15, 2017, Ms. K.C. Chen founded and sponsored "Di Hua 207 Museum," with the concept of promoting the preservation and revival of heritage buildings. She hopes that the vitality of this beautiful old house's transformation will tell the stories of local cultural history in Taiwan through thematic exhibitions and various cultural and artistic activities, connecting the present with the future, and creating a new life for the old house.
