Hu Jing Tou is located in the northwest of Lieyu, only 5,000 meters away from Xiamen. During the wartime, it was one of the former psychological warfare broadcasting bases, along with Mashaan in the northeast of Kinmen, Guning Tou in the northwest, and Datan Island. In 1988, the Hu Jing Tou War History Museum was completed. Its exterior resembles a fortress, with ancient-style battlements, red gates with golden nails. The square displays various weapons such as heavy guns, 57mm anti-tank guns, and machine guns, highlighting the strong military atmosphere. The exhibition inside the museum includes sections such as information service stations, the combat achievements of the Lieyu Division, the heroic image of iron men, the days spent guarding Kinmen, stories of soldiers, "listen to their voices," and observation experience areas. The museum preserves letters exchanged between commanding officers during the war, photos of visits, data on various equipment and weapons used during the artillery battles, as well as practical displays of shells, audio-visual materials, and other tour facilities. Guided tours are available at 9:50, 10:40, 14:00, and 14:50. Audio-visual tour: ◾️ Film title: Iron Men's Heroic Image ◾️ Film duration: A total of 7 films, lasting 35 minutes, free seating for viewing.
