金門縣894烈嶼鄉羅厝十字路口
Starting from the Jiu Gong Wharf, climbing up the slope, a long rainbow-shaped gate will appear ahead, spanning across the entrance to the village under the lake, called the "Victory Gate." On the circular pedestal in front of the gate stands a large green and white cannonball, with golden characters reading "Memorial Monument of the August 23rd Artillery Battle Victory." On the circular pedestal, there is also an image of the "Blue Sky and White Sun," which is the most representative spiritual fortress of the area. In 1958, during the "August 23rd Artillery Battle," the Chinese People's Liberation Army fired over 470,000 shells in an attempt to capture the Jinmen Islands. At that time, the small Jinmen Island was almost completely destroyed, but the military and civilians of the small Jinmen Island, with their indomitable spirit, passed through the harsh tests, making this memorial monument shine with infinite brilliance. Behind the Victory Gate, the gate is over 10 meters high, with the red characters "Victory Gate" written on it, like a long rainbow spanning across the road, with sentinels standing below the rainbow, making people immediately feel the atmosphere of the frontline battlefield upon stepping onto the small Jinmen Island, and also giving them a sense of moving towards victory.
