Simplified Chinese: Qīngluó Beach, located on the north coast of Lúxiāng in Penghu, is also one of Penghu’s important ecological areas. This beach stretches for several hundred meters of coral rubble, and the back part has fine shell sand. Here there is a coastal wetland that attracts flocks of migratory birds to pass through or rest, and also hosts the protected bird species *Sternula albifrons* that breeds here—one of the largest habitats and wintering grounds for birds in Penghu. Each year, over a hundred species and several thousand migratory or wintering birds are counted, making it rich in natural and cultural ecological resources. Qīngluó Beach, with its coral reef and basalt rock, covers a vast area and is sparsely populated, so it remains quiet. Enjoy the beauty of Qīngluó Beach, step into the cool sea water; to the west, mid‑town wind turbines dot the landscape, and to the northeast, the East China Sea islands. At sunset, the sea and wind turbines create a more picturesque scene. In front of Qīngluó Beach lies a vast intertidal zone where you can collect shells during low tide. Qīngluó Coast is a diverse wetland, featuring rocky reefs, gravel, beach, and muddy coastlines, as well as mangroves, tidal pools, sandbars, and fish ponds—an epitome of Penghu’s various wetland landscapes. 【Suggested stay time】 0.5 hours
