No. 16 traditional house is a well-preserved Taiwanese traditional street house. The first part of this type of street house is designed with a mezzanine floor and a well, through which goods can be sent up and down. Each part has a sky well to facilitate lighting, and a water passageway is designed as a kitchen. Due to the success of the social construction of Bridge South Old Street, Ye Nai-wei, who used to operate a vintage train and second-hand car cafe in Tainan's Hou Wall, Wushulin, was attracted to return to his hometown to participate in the social construction work. He converted No. 16 traditional house into a cafe, allowing the aroma of Taiwanese organic coffee to waft through Bridge South Old Street. It's worth mentioning that Mr. Ye is a vinyl record enthusiast, and the walls of the traditional house are covered with record covers he collected from all over. As you take a sip of coffee, old songs played from an ancient record player might suddenly come on - don't be surprised, it's as if you've stumbled into a time tunnel. No. 13 Food Cafe and No. 16 Cafe are connected. Visitors can tour and enjoy a variety of local delicacies and beverages.
