The Dahan River Bikeway stretches across New Taipei City’s districts. Riverside parks and bike paths line both the left and right banks. The left-bank path links Xinzhuang, Shulin, and Yingge; starting from Houjiang Weir, passing Ganyuan Overpass, and heading toward the Sanying Pottery Garden, riders are greeted by Taiwan golden-rain trees—celebrated for their four-color display—lining both sides. Continuing on, you reach the Sanying rental station inside the Pottery Garden; after returning your bike, follow the broad wooden steps down to the next stop, the “Dongying Story Trail.”
The right-bank route begins at Banqiao’s Huajiang Bridge and runs all the way to Tucheng—only 12 km, but the riverside scenery is captivating. For stronger riders, the left-bank Dahan River Bikeway also connects to the Erchong Circular Bikeway, Bali Left-Bank Bikeway, or Golden Coast Bikeway, while the right-bank path links to the Xindian River Bikeway.
