Gangshan is a major hub for Taiwan's screw industry, with over 30% of the country's screw industry concentrated in this area and its production volume accounting for more than 16% of the global market, hence Gangshan is renowned as the "Kingdom of Screws". The Screw Museum was established to preserve, document, and collect the history and production process of the screw industry. Within a three-story building with a total floor area of 600 pings, the first floor displays the production process, operational steps, and various machines used in the manufacturing process. Visitors can understand the complex and meticulous production of these small screws through interactive exhibits. The display booths on the second and third floors showcase representative products from various screw manufacturers, providing domestic and international clients with comprehensive insights into these companies' offerings. Although screws are small, they play a crucial role in industry, spanning from traditional foundational sectors to aerospace and biomedical applications. Tens of thousands of specifications for small screws connect vast economies. The Screw Museum serves as a base in Taiwan for the screw industry's R&D, exhibitions, and educational initiatives, making it highly significant for educational and promotional purposes.
