The terrain featured direct seawater surges toward the village. At the western end of Chongguang Village lies Caotziwei (草仔尾), which belonged to Magong's first public cemetery in the past. Therefore, according to instructions from Master Chi of Wailing Temple, a tower named "Lingxiao Pagoda" (凌霄寶塔) was built to suppress imperfections in the terrain. The gourds atop the pagoda face all four directions and, together with the "Changshui God Stone Tablet" (漳水神石碑) located between Sun and Moon Pools, protect the entire village.
