The group's patriarch, Mr. Hsu Wen-Lung, founder of Qimei Industry, is an art and leisure enthusiast who led Qimei Group in spreading the seeds of art. He established the Qimei Museum, which houses world-class art pieces that are open to the public for free. To provide visitors with a comfortable resting space, the Qimei Cafe was born. The Qimei Cafe was established with a 100% investment from Qimei Food, a related company of Qimei Group. By combining cultural resources from the Qimei Wenjiao Foundation, the cafe offers an artistic and musical journey, allowing visitors to enjoy their coffee while experiencing Western art. The first Qimei Cafe branch, located in the museum, opened on January 1, 2000. Over the past nine years, Qimei Cafe has expanded from the museum to serve related companies, and has also opened branches at TSMC Fab 6, Industrial Technology Research Institute headquarters, AU Optronics, National Chiao Tung University, National Cheng Kung University's Qimei Building, and Qimei Happiness Experience Center (Dream Mall), with a total of 14 branches established to date.
