Located in Puyan Township, Changhua County, Guiyuan Natural Ecological Farm is famous for its wide variety of rare chicken breeds and its home-produced colorful eggs. Owner Cai Guihui was originally in the jade and jewelry trade, but 22 years ago he took over the family chicken farm and was inspired by the idea that eggs, like jewels, could be brilliantly colorful. He launched a major renovation, and through his efforts successfully brought a fresh new look to Guiyuan. After more than twenty years of meticulous research and development, eggs are no longer just eggs—they have become colorful treasures to be carefully observed and savored. Selected non-toxic feed is combined with premium ingredients such as pineapple enzymes, probiotics, blue-green algae, onions, chili peppers, and garlic. Free-range and natural farming methods raise healthy chickens and produce fresh eggs of outstanding quality. Using concepts of environmental recycling, energy conservation, native plants, and ecological pond circulation, the 90-ping “Happy Egg” Theme Pavilion was conceived and built. It offers egg-related knowledge and showcases chicken breeds from around the world. Visitors can feed the chickens and collect eggs for a hands-on experience. The indoor area introduces egg knowledge, sells related products, and offers many fun DIY activities.
