台北市大同區昌吉街156號1樓(重慶北路和昌吉街口)
Remember when the bridge head was at the intersection of the current Minquan West Road and Dihua Street. It was no less than the current Shilin Night Market! There were morning and night markets. The night market on Yanping North Road was called (Xinlu) 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, which people of that generation should know. I was lucky enough to have taken a tricycle to the back station to catch a train. We have been selling Lu Rou Fan (braised pork rice) at the bridge head since 1933, and it was open 24 hours a day. Like other old shops, we also started from street vendors. Customers who wanted to eat would say "go to Jin Feng Grand Hotel" to eat, and Jin Feng was my grandmother's name. Our current restaurant's decoration is the same as before, with the original flavor for a whole generation. Because of the 1994 demolition and reconstruction of the Taipei Bridge, and my grandmother getting older, the Lu Rou Fan also had to take a break. So in 2006, we reopened again at No. 116, Section 3, Yanping North Road, and operated for three years. Because we didn't renew the lease, we moved to No. 156, Changan Street, and registered the shop number as (Taipei Bridge Head Meizhu Lu Rou Fan), where Meizhu is my mother's name. Because many people call it "Qiaotou Lu Rou Fan" (Bridge Head Lu Rou Fan), each one has its own characteristics, and we welcome everyone to come eat at the bridge head. We have many special dishes that you can't find outside. (Pickled Cabbage Pig Lung and Intestine, Salted Vegetable Soup, Pork Belly) Everyone must try the Egg in a Pocket.
