A century-old pastry family, Guo Yuanyi Pastries, has been in operation for four generations. Starting from carrying a pole to sell their products, it has now grown to 31 branches, becoming a well-known brand in Taiwan with a legendary story.
Since the 1980s, Guo Yuanyi has started to develop Western-style wedding pastries, launching Western-style cookies in tin boxes. In 1993, it won the "Top Ten National Design Awards," ushering in a new era for the wedding pastry market. In 2006, Guo Yuanyi established a wedding dress salon, offering comprehensive and diversified professional services, in addition to various wedding pastries, with professional capabilities and attitudes. From 2003 to 2010, it was awarded the number one "Ideal Wedding Pastries Brand" by Management Magazine for eight consecutive years.

This year, the Taipei City Pineapple Bun Creativity Competition saw Guo Yuanyi winning third place with its "Agave Dark Chocolate Pineapple Bun." The outer layer is a rich chocolate crisp, the second layer is traditional flaky pastry, and the inner pineapple filling has an enticing wine aroma. The filling is made from premium pineapples from Guanmiao, Tainan. The taste is sweet and rich, with a satisfyingly smooth flavor, bringing both surprise and emotion.
