台北市士林區文林路546號4樓
In 1708, the ancestors of Guo Yuanyi came from Zhangzhou, Fujian, crossed the sea to Taiwan, and started the new chapter of traditional Taiwanese pastry history in Shilin Bridge Head with just a single bamboo pole. After four generations of legendary operation, the century-old shop continuously innovated, and earned the reputation of "a family of pastries". After a century of refinement, Mr. Guo Yuanyi established the first pastry museum in Taiwan in order to preserve the precious historical assets of Taiwanese pastries. The museum exhibits the history of the "pastry family" over the past century, introduces the evolution of the traditional pastry industry in Taiwan, and the customs of traditional weddings, funerals, and celebrations in Taiwan. This allows people to have a deeper understanding and knowledge of traditional Taiwanese pastries. The Shilin Branch of Guo Yuanyi Pastry Museum, established in 2002, was set up after the Yangmei Branch in 2001. It is located on the original site of Guo Yuanyi's century-old shop, on the 4th and 5th floors of the Guo Yuanyi corporate headquarters. In addition to the exhibition area of the museum, which introduces the historical evolution of Taiwanese pastries over the past century and the traditional customs of weddings, funerals, and celebrations, there is also a "Happy Baking House" where visitors can make pastries by themselves and experience the interesting world of pastries. In addition, there are "Family Activities Area" and "Outdoor Family Recreation Area", allowing both adults and children to learn more about Taiwanese pastries through various activities and facilities.
