The Nanhai Tourist Service Center is located next to the Nanhai Pier, right at Penghu’s third fishing port. It consists of a new building and an older building and serves primarily as a temporary waiting area for tourists heading to the islands of Nanhai. Inside the visitor center, travel information is provided, and ticketing for yacht operators bound for Nanhai is available. It is the gateway to Nanhai and the southern islands (Tongpan, Hujing, Wang'an, Qimei, Dongji, Xiji, Dongyuping, and Xiyuping). The center houses facilities such as tourist information desks, yacht services, waiting rooms, a retail area, a coffee plaza, a luggage room, and a washroom. A designated luggage storage area is available from 06:30 AM to 09:30 PM. The service counter has on‑site staff who can answer any travel questions. A ticket office for Nanhai speedboat operators is also set up inside the center, and many operators set up temporary stalls outside the visitor center to sell tickets. Tourists and locals traveling to the small islands of Nanhai must use the Nanhai Pier for transport, so the peak departure and return times are from around 6 AM to 9 AM and from 3 PM to 5 PM. 【Recommended stay time】 0.5 hours
