Carried forward through four generations with a commitment to traditional methods, our red turtle rice cakes use locally sourced Beigang peanuts and Taiwanese rice to preserve the most traditional and authentic flavors. The unique feature of our shop’s red turtle rice cakes is the stuffing, which exclusively uses local Beigang peanuts—aromatic and more flavorful—and Taiwanese rice with a softer, chewier texture that retains its quality without quickly becoming soggy. The recipes and ingredients follow ancient techniques, reducing sweetness and oil to align with modern health-conscious preferences. Beyond upholding the delicious taste of red turtle rice cakes, we also strive to revive discontinued traditional flavors, such as authentic vegetable buns, and have developed new products like charred mochi, making them signature desserts of the shop.
