Taka-san Mountain, located at an elevation of approximately 900 meters within the Coastal Mountain Range, derives its name from the Japanese colonial era when the entire area was covered with Taiwania cryptomerioides trees. These trees are a type of evergreen broadleaf conifer, characterized by their hard timber, and were well-known during that time as they were exported to Japan for use in rifle stocks. Nowadays, the area is filled with golden needle flowers, also known as "forget-worry grass." Here, surrounded by fields of vibrant yellow and a gentle breeze on the skin, one truly feels as if all worries and troubles vanish entirely.
