Located in Ruifang District, New Taipei City, the Bat Cave Park is situated near the coastal highway tunnel (at the 75K mark of Taiwan Highway No. 2). The park features a gazebo, a parking lot, and a bat-watching platform, which is used by tourists in the evening to observe bats. The park is connected to the coastal community via a community road (originally a railway line that was dismantled), which was formerly a railway line, and the remains of the coastal railway station can still be explored by tourists to discover the past prosperity. It is also the largest known bat colony cave in Taiwan, where every May and June, millions of female bats gather to give birth to their young, with numbers reaching tens of thousands. After the young bats grow up and leave in August and September, they return the following year. The park has many bat-themed facilities and a viewing platform near the bat cave, allowing tourists to observe the bat ecosystem.
