The Lina Community Visitor Center is located on the Peace Road in Majia Township, Pingtung County. The National Park Headquarters recognized that this site could connect the scenic spots along Highway 24, County Road 185, and County Road 187. Therefore, they established the Lina Community Visitor Center. Additionally, the Pingtung County Government set up the Red Millet Story House and the Lina 1n1 Creative Space nearby, combining traditional cultural heritage with innovation and creativity to transform traditional crafts into artistic pieces with infinite imagination. This provides tourists with convenient and diverse services, including sightseeing, shopping, and travel. The center offers various facilities, including an accessible tourism consultation desk, multimedia room, nursing room, book exchange station, and smart device charging station. Visitors are encouraged to try on traditional Paiwan and Rukai ethnic clothing and take photos as a memorable experience. The center's location offers a panoramic view of the Pingtung Plain, and visitors can enjoy the scenery, watch the sunset, and see the distant bridges and skyscrapers. The plaza in front of the center occasionally hosts weekend art markets, combining the trend of creative markets with the unique cultural characteristics of indigenous communities. Visitors interested in learning more about the culture of the Rukai and Paiwan tribes are recommended to explore the tribal areas to experience their daily lives and cultural traditions. It is suggested that visitors spend about 30 minutes here, where they can obtain local tourism information and inquire about popular free ethnic clothing experiences and take photos as souvenirs.
