Shacieh Island is located at the confluence of the Keelung River and the Tamsui River, with a sandy shoal geological formation. The region is dotted with stretches of rice paddies and lush vegetable gardens, showcasing the serene pastoral scenery and the simple charm of its farming communities. Bike trails have been constructed atop the dikes here, attracting many cycling enthusiasts. At the island's southern end (Sa-shui), the Keelung River and Tamsui River meet in a dramatic swirling display. At sunset, golden hues of the setting sun shimmer across the water's surface, while the distant peaks of Mount Datun and Mount Guanyin stretch toward the horizon—an breathtaking view that leaves visitors awestruck.

Further south, it connects to the Baling Bridge Left Bank Bicycle Path, where numerous large sports arenas of various types can be found. These sites often attract both domestic and foreign renowned sports teams for training, offering cyclists nearby an energizing view of bustling sporting crowds. The Shuigen Channel Circular Bicycle Trail spans 24 kilometers in total, weaving through dikes into park areas where diverse themed riverside green spaces await, each vying for sufficient time to explore.
