Wolongpo Trail

Wolongpo Trail follows the mountain ridge, named for its resemblance to a reclining dragon. It was rebuilt from an old path that once connected Yuanlin in Changhua to Liufenliao in Nantou; the trail is about 0.8 km long. The entire route is a gently sloping, tree-shaded path, with only the starting point featuring a short flight of steps. A pavilion roughly halfway along offers views of the forested hills, and visitors can also drop by Fengtian Temple (drinking water and public toilets available, though services may vary due to pandemic-related changes). Along the way you’ll find tung and acacia trees; in spring and summer the blossoms create colorful displays, and nectar plants attract butterflies, insects, and wild birds. The area adjoins Yuanlin Sports Park, Tengshan Trail, and Wolongpo itself, making it ideal for leisure and fitness activities. Trail length: 0.76 km Walking time: 0.3 hrs Facilities: parking (motorcycles and cars), entrance landmark, pavilion
