The owner, a professional chef from Hong Kong, brings the flavor of Hong Kong's 1940s diners, with his exquisite cooking skills, to guests dining at Xiang Fa.
Signature dishes at the restaurant: 1. Chaoshan-style turnip cake: homemade turnip cake, soft and firm, combined with leeks, silver grass, and shrimp, with XO sauce, aromatic and fragrant. 2. Hakka salted chicken: a pearl chicken raised on corn, with firm and chewy chicken meat, marinated with salt water blended with ginger, bay leaves, and other seasonings, paired with green onion and garlic, appetizing and tender. 3. Smoked fish and eggplant noodles: the noodles are saltwater noodles, chewy and elastic, combined with soft and tender eggplant, with a slightly spicy taste, making it hard to stop eating. The Xiang Fa sandwich and frozen Ovaltine are Ah Ge's favorites.
