English Bay Seafood Restaurant, originally named “English Bay Food and Beverage Establishment,” was founded in 1969. In the 1960s it was renamed “English Bay Seafood Store” and later adopted the name “English Bay Seafood Restaurant,” which it has kept to this day.

With a forty‑year history of excellent reputation, “English Bay Seafood Restaurant” is a three‑storey building that can accommodate 88 tables at once. It is the oldest and largest seafood restaurant in the coastal area of Chiayi, and although it is not adjacent to the waterfront city, its convenient transportation links and large parking lot attract a constant stream of diners.
