The Baolai Hot Spring area is located in Baolai Village, Liugui District. After passing Baolai No. 1 Bridge, you will arrive at the Baolai Hot Spring area, a famous hot spring tourist destination in the south. During the Japanese rule, the Baolai Hot Spring area was a primitive forest filled with cypress, camphor, and oak trees. The Japanese referred to this place as a "Fairyland" or "Penglai仙境," which is the origin of the name Baolai. The spring water here is a sulfur-hydrogen hot spring with a temperature of about 60°C. It is rich in minerals, with a pH value of around 7. It is said to have various health benefits, including invigorating muscles and bones, beautifying the skin, and maintaining the immune system. It is recommended to spend about 3 hours here, leisurely soaking in the hot springs and enjoying local特色美食.
