Home Gallery established in 1990, near Tatung University. Originally, Wang Ciyong operated a gallery under the name "Glory Era" in the Eastern District before relocating it to Zhongshan N. Road (current location) and renaming it "Home Gallery", evoking a warm domestic atmosphere. The collection here is abundant, with major artists including Pan Yuliang, Chang Yü, Yu Cheng-yao, Chu Yuen-chih, Lin Shouyu, Yeh Tzu-chi, Ku He-chung, Lee Kao-chao. It also collects works from other artists such as Chiu P'ing-hang, Liu Hai-su, Chu Chu-jan, Shen Yao-chu, aiming at nurturing more outstanding artists in Taiwan and contributing to the art community.
Recently, Home Gallery made its debut at the 11th Shanghai Art Exhibition and received considerable acclaim. Many viewers lingered by Pan Yuliang's self-portrait of "Nude Female", the earliest work by Taiwan's pioneering female artist who studied in France, to take photos with "her". The exhibition also featured extensive artworks by Yu Cheng-yao, the prominent modern Chinese ink master, who garnered widespread appreciation. Lin Shouyu, the father of minimalism in Contemporary Taiwanese art, even personally visited the exhibition to explain his artworks. Home Gallery has already stepped beyond its home boundaries and gained international attention.
