Simplified Chinese worship of the main deity: The Zhen Wu Emperor Festival is held on the third day of the third lunar month during the 8th year of Jiayin. A shrine was established and dedicated to Xuantian Shangdi, Wen Heng Shengdi, Shui Xian Wang, Liu Da Wang, Taizi Ye, and other deities to pray for harmony and safety. It was rebuilt in 1954. The temple's begging turtle event is one of Penghu's most famous folk activities, and visitors can come during the Lantern Festival.
